The Path to Membership

welcomes you to WCoMC

In its simplest form, joining WCoMC (being admitted as a Freeman or Junior Freeman of our Company) is very straightforward. Firstly, complete our online Connect With Us form. Secondly, download and complete our short Application Form with the aid of a proposer (sponsor) and two seconders. Then add a copy of your curriculum vitae to the application form and email it to us. Of course if you do not have any immediate contacts within our Company, then you will need to get to know us first so that between us we can identify a suitable proposer and seconders. We are very open and welcome prospective members from all walks of our consultancy and mentoring profession.

That said, most prospective members have questions, particularly those who do not necessarily know any current members. The common threads that all members share are engaging in our philanthropic or educational work, and linking to our fellowship network of like-minded consultants.

With this in mind, we have put together a few documents to help answer some immediate questions:

  • First, our FAQ PDF document should answer the questions that prospective members most frequently ask, particularly about the process of joining and the cost of membership.
  • Second, is our Induction Pack aimed at those that have decided to join. This provides a short ‘checklist’ to help new members navigate their way around our Livery Company and to provide them with a rapid route to inclusion in our various activities.
  • Finally, for what you can expect as a new member, please look at our Welcome Pack.
